Doung Zorida presently is proud of her successful business and performing art in the several years. She is model, actress and TV personality and she has well-educated study. She was born in 1983 at Cambodian-Thailand border and then she grew up in Battambang province. In 1993, her family moved to Phnom Penh during the mass repatriation of Cambodian refugees.

In 2002, she joined the completion of “Freshier Boys and Boys”, which selected the beautiful girls and handsome boys in such of this baby-boom country. During the completion, Zorida was selected amongst thousands of Cambodian candidates. And then she was selected as “The attractive-photo or camera-friendly girl” and a job in the Phnom company that sponsored the event.

At the present, she became the owner of Clothes shops and Tailor shop in Phnom Penh. In addition, she is gaining in popularity in her careers and she is managing several programs in three local Television channels such CTN, ASEAN TV and TV3.

Doung Zorida is the first daughter amongst the four siblings in the family. Her mother is tailor and her father is doctor but he passed away. Her oldest sister left for United States of America in 1980s.

Cambodian actress, Pov Lida, moved to her new house worth around US$100,000 off Seng Ly market in Phnom Penh. This house is a gift from her father who abandoned her and her mother for 20 years after he met her and his wife. Reportedly, it is a gift from her boyfriend but she strongly rejected it.
Pov Lida said that she received this house last month from a man who she confirmed that he is her father. She added that “he abandoned her month and her for 20 years. He bought it for her after I just met him.”
She added that she moved from her small, old house near Psar Depot market to new building that was bought but she does not organize housewarming yet.

Pich Sophea, Cambodian singer from Reaksmey Hang Meas Production, is busy with her singing career in 2011, even though she had not so much new songs last year and her popularity was not strongly supported from fans. The new year arrived but she has not yet plan for her own business.
She does not think about business because she has not enough time and is very busy with her singing career. She also said that so far, she has no plan for future because she is trying to retrieve her popularity. For New Year, she does not think anything besides her current career.
It is noticed that she used to get engaged to a Cambodian-American man but later she broke her engagement last year.
