MBC’s ‘Infinity Challenge’ gets a warning for crude language and themes

MBC‘s popular variety program ‘Infinity Challenge‘ recently came under the microscope of the Korea Communications Standards Commission for its consistent use of ‘improper’ language and, among other things, yelling too loudly.
The commission revealed that it had agreed to subject the show to scrutiny for its offenses. “We received complaints about ‘Infinity Challenge’ relating to the cast members giving inappropriately loud reactions and using crude language and phrases over a long period of time“, the commission stated.  In addition, it asserts, “Although we have pointed out these infractions repeatedly, they have not been addressed so we are considering a punishment”.
The complaints ranged from crude captions to the cast members’ actions themselves.
Possible sanctions against the show will be decided at a general meeting on September 29th.
